Lightweight Tiled Conservatory Roofs
Solid conservatory roofs are designed to replace existing glass or polycarbonate roofs or to be used in the initial construction and feature a U-value of 0.14. These solid roofs are made with the use of a pod system, finished off with any of our lightweight tiles.
A roof pod is a one piece of boarded timber framework section, available in a variety of shapes, forming a structural link between the eaves and the ridge. These pods are pre-assembled for a faster construction, made from roofing grade timber and all joints are glued and screwed together before being fitted with 15mm OBS roofing sheet boarding, ideal for replacing existing conservatory roofs.
The roofs are then connected to a continuous Glulam ring beam attached to the head of the window frames, finished with a 150mm fascia board and a decorative gutter system. This specially produced engineered beam provides incredible durability, strength and performance.
A Roof For All Seasons
Our roofs are more energy efficient than traditional conservatory roofs. So, you’ll be able to enjoy your open space, but you’ll be saving money on your energy bills too.
